Mike and Donna Buckley

Hope 21 is a ministry launched by Mike and Donna Buckley aimed at bringing HOPE to the hurting and the hungry. 

Mike is an ordained Assembly of God minister and has pastored and been involved in world missions for over 30 years. 

Donna is a Registered Nurse working for over 20 years in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit. She also leads Women’s Ministries and is a gifted teacher. 

​Mike and Donna were married in 1981 and have raised sons Jon, Ben and nephew Dylan.

In 1999, their son Jon was killed in a house fire at the age of 16. An avid athlete, Jon wore the number 21 on the basketball court. It has been through great loss that God has forged a testimony of Hope. Mike and Donna used this experience to minister to families that have suffered loss and tragedy.

After Jon's passing the Buckley's began hosting Jon Buckley Memorial Basketball Tournament in honor of their son in November of 1999. Proceeds funded micro scholarships for students desiring to attend Bible college. The tournament would continue for 14 years.

​Then, in 2013, God called Mike into other areas of ministry. The Lord challenged him to feed children globally. Hope 21 Ministries launched in this same year and through a series of doors that God would open, our clean water initiative began.

Outreach in Honduras

Hope 21 Ministries is called to bring Health to the body and Hope for the soul. We believe both are imperative to making a lasting impact on those in need. 

We have learned that the water filters provide us an even greater opportunity to share The Gospel of Jesus Christ. They are a great analogy of how we can be completely "filtered" of our sins by the shed blood of Jesus on the cross of Calvary.

Hope 21 has helped families across the world. To date, we have sent filters into Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, El Salvador, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Vietnam, Kenya, Pakistan, India, Cambodia and Bangladesh. We are always looking for more ways to expand our outreach.
