Hope 21 Water Filters
The Hope 21 Hollow Fiber Membrane Filter is made up of strings of mesh that catch harmful contaminants and tiny particles, including viruses and bacteria.
WHY FILTERS?
The hollow fiber membrane filters trap harmful bacteria and microorganisms. Unlike Reverse Osmosis filter and Ultra Violet Purifiers, our Ultra Filtration Purifiers do not require electricity to operate. The filters can be easily transported to the most remote areas and be fully operation in minutes.
The Science Lesson
The Hope 21 Water Filter process might sound complicated, but it’s actually not. It’s doing the same thing that a common kitchen strainer might do, but only at a microscopic level.
We find the same technology utilized in Kidney Dialysis. Kidney dialysis is a life-support treatment that uses a special machine to filter harmful wastes, salt, and excess fluid from the blood. This restores the blood to a normal, healthy balance.
In the Ultra Filtration Purifier process, the tiny polysulfone hollow fiber micro-tubes trap all bacteria larger than 0.0001 microns in diameter. The hollow fiber membrane filter removes bacteria, protozoa and micro-organisms from contaminated water sources making it completely safe to drink.
This filter will clean 150 gallons of water per day!

How Big Is A Micron?
A micron (µm) is a unit of length equal to one millionth of a meter.
There are 25,4000 microns in one inch.
-A grain of beach sand is from 100 to 2000 µm
-40 µm is visible to the naked eye
-A mold spore is 10 to 30 µm
-5 µm can be felt with the fingertip
-0.5 µm is visible with a microscope
Our 0.0001 Micron Filter removes everything bigger than 0.0001 of a micron, including viruses and bacteria.

Filter Kit Instructions
- Using a five gallon bucket or any similar container, drill a 13/16" hole about 1.5" from the bottom of the container.
- Unscrew the fitting attached to the silicone hose and reassemble on the newly drilled hole, making sure that each side has a rubber washer. Be sure not to overtighten.
- Attach the H21 Filter to the silicone hose with the White "Water Flow" Arrow pointing away from the hose.
- Fill the container with water.
- Lower the filter below the container to begin producing clean water.
- Every 3 days back flush the filter 3 times using the syringe filled with clean water. Push the syringe in the direction of the Red "Back Flush" Arrow after disconnecting the filter from the silicone hose.
